  1. Q: Who do I call to report street lights that are out?


    A: Call the Mayor's office at 863-9800. They will be reported to KU or RECC


  2. Q: Who do I call to report trash, high grass or weeds?


    A: Call Michael Johnson, Code Enforcer, at 863-7805.


  3. Q: What is the best way to contact the Mayor?


    A: Call 863-9800, leave a message and he will return your call or schedule an appointment.


  4. Q: What are pickup days for garbage?


    A: Call Public Works at 863-9855


  5. Q: My trash was not picked up, why?


    A: Call Public Works at 863-9855


  6. Q: What is the maximum size for garbage cans?


    A: 35 gallon. Trash will not be picked up if can is any larger.


  7. Q: When does City Council meet?


    A: First and Third Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.


  8. Q: Who is my Council person?


    A: Council members are At Large members; they serve the entire city - not a particular district.


  9. Q: Who should I call to report oil or other hazardous materials being dumped into the road gutter, storm sewer, or creek?


    A: For Storm Sewers call
    First, call 911.
